Program settings for a variety of environments The MLD is equipped with four memories designed to optimize understanding speech in different listening situations. The memory button is very accessible and easy to use with audible beeps indicating which memory has been selected. The MLD is programmed specifically for free-field fittings involving high frequency hearing loss. The memories have been assigned to provide smooth amplification with ascending levels of gain: Memory 1 has the lowest gain setting; Memory 4 has the highest gain setting. Of course, memories and settings can be easily adjusted via General Hearing's digital software to meet individual hearing needs.
